Visit to the Australian Army Infantry Museum

  • Australian Army Infrantry Museum 358 Range Road Singleton Military Area, NSW, 2331 Australia (map)

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to share a little throwback to last year when our GFFL group had an awesome time visiting the Australian Army Infantry Museum. It was super cool and we learned so much! If you're thinking about going, here's what you need to know.

The visit is really relaxed, but sticking together in a group makes the whole experience way better - plus, it's great for soaking up all that knowledge. You'll have to get yourself to the museum, but once you're there, you can totally grab a bite at the amazing café they have onsite - reasonably priced for you too.

Now, let's talk about what you'll see. The museum is split into two main areas. Downstairs, you'll find all sorts of exhibits that take you through the history of operations, starting from Sudan in 1885 all the way to Afghanistan. It's wild to see how things have changed!

Up on the mezzanine level, you'll get a close-up look at the 'tools of the trade.' We're talking small arms and training aids that have been used throughout history. It's crazy to see how this gear has evolved and how it's shaped the way our infantry does their thing.

And the best part? Getting into the museum is FREE!

Keep in mind that we don't have a solid date for the visit just yet, but don't worry - we'll iron out those details during our upcoming GFFL sessions.

Can't wait to see your familiar faces all there!
